What Is Galvanized Steel?
The galvanized coil is a thin steel plate in which a thin steel
plate is immersed in a molten zinc bath to adhere a layer of zinc
to the surface.Galvanized steel is a surface treatment technique
that coats a layer of zinc on the surface of a metal, alloy or
other material for aesthetics, rust prevention, and the like. The
main method used is hot-dip galvanizing. Zinc is easily soluble in
acid and soluble in alkali, so it is called an amphoteric metal.
Zinc hardly changes in dry air. In moist air, a dense zinc
carbonate film is formed on the zinc surface. In the atmosphere
containing sulfur dioxide, hydrogen sulfide and marine, the
corrosion resistance of zinc is poor, especially in the atmosphere
containing high temperature and high humidity containing organic
acid, the zinc coating is easily corroded.
Main Features
1) Corrosion resistance:When zinc is abraded, aluminum forms a
dense layer of alumina that prevents further corrosion of the
corrosive material inside.
2) Heat resistance:Aluminum zinc alloy steel has good heat
resistance and can withstand high temperatures of more than 300
degrees Celsius.
3) Thermal reflexes:The heat reflectivity of Al Zn steel plate is
very high, which is two times that of galvanized steel sheet.
4) economical efficiency:Since the density of 55% AL-Zn is smaller
than the density of Zn, the aluminum-zinc-plated steel sheet is
more than 3% larger than the area of the plated steel sheet when
the weight is the same and the thickness of the gold-plated layer
is the same.

Hot dip galvanizing (HDG):it is one of the common galvanizing methods. The process is to
completely dip iron or steel into molten zinc.
Electro-galvanizing(EG):it is to remove the oil, pickle, and then put into the solution of
zinc salt by electrolysis equipment, and connect the negative
electrode of the electrolysis equipment, place the zinc plate on
the opposite side of the pipe fitting, and connect When the
positive electrode of the electrolysis device is turned on, a layer
of zinc is deposited on the pipe by the directional movement of the
current from the positive electrode to the negative electrode, and
the cold-plated pipe member is processed and then galvanized.

Production Process:

original board → pre-plating treatment → hot dip plating →
post-plating treatment → finished product inspection. According to
the habits, the hot-dip galvanizing process is divided into two
categories: off-line annealing and in-line annealing.
